60 Series custom aluminum bumpers and a set of sliders today for @WSOPgold2012

Rear bumper has 7075 custom machined aluminum spindles and arms are fully removable. Front bumper with lo-pro hoop and pocketed recovery points. Both bumpers are built from 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" 6061 aluminum. Lo Pro hoop is 2" x 1/4" wall tube.

Flat full tread sliders.

Clean these up a bit and headed to powder coating.

Got a new toy today. BL H2D with 40W laser, AMS 2 Pro, dual head and cutting module. Set up and calibrated. Ready to print some parts in the next day or two.

The Rust Doctor in Grand Junction, CO reached out and needs armor for their new 60 shop display truck.

I'm honored they chose Trail Tailor for their armor along with several other parts for the build.

Bambu makes some great machines! Tip with any PA filament - it needs to be super dry to print with good quality (keep in container with desiccant packs or dry in an oven before printing) and the prints will absorb water and loose some strength after printing. Another great filament to try is PPA-CF, it has similar strength to AL-6061 after printing especially if it is annealed in an oven to fuse the layers together and will have a bit less of a strength knockdown from absorbing water vs other PA filaments.

These are interior pieces..... so absorption is not an issue unless the vehicle is submerged in a lake.

Running through a AMS HT so temps will be good and materials will be pre-dried for a proper print application.

TT you never stop amazing us with your custom parts you just “think up”. Pretty awesome!

DOTI has an integrated shifter and cover, cup holder and center console for 60 series but RHD only. Definitely could see a LHD version in your repertoire with your skills!

DOTI refused to make 25 pieces in LHD for me so they are now in R&D for my brothers here in the USA!

Be a few weeks but they are coming soon!
