So the time has finally come. I have machined the 60/61/62 front and the 61/62 rear sway links out of 4130 Chromoly. No more bolts through a piece of tube.

5/8" 4130 Chromoly solid bar stock.

Energy suspension bushes on the front and upgraded to the OEM Toyota bonded bushing for the rears.

These links are designed for a 2-4" lift.

Your AC must not work well...
LOL it works great, but black anodized metal in direct sunlight (no window tint) gets quite toasty. If I position a vent just right to hit it when I'm in 3rd and 5th it cools off after just a couple minutes with the cold air blowing over it. Until that point though, not fun!

i'm stoked...my panels are on the way!!

this looks exactly like what i'm working with. i added the rear shoulder belts to my 62 so I have that bump out trim thing to cover the belt retractor hardware.

can you post some pics with the doors opened to show what you did behind there?

I think my first task is going to be figuring out where to relocate my always-on bluesea usb power outlet...i dont think i want to drill a hole in this lovely aluminum panel -so i need a place to move that power outlet. I use it constantly to charge phones, and light up USB rope lights and such while camping.
