Is this a "like" moment? I didn't pick up happy vibes from how your post was worded. Hope things are good with you jas..:)

Its all good my my hood. I've had a few companies talk to me about buying the whole shebang over the past few years. But when it came down to the finish line they would disappear. This allows me some real flexibility for custom work that I've been wanting to do. Canopy builds and further R&D in other areas.

So are you completely out of the bumper business then? Even one offs come 5/30/18

Basically any old design or "released for sale" design is now owned by the new owner starting 6-1-18. I can make any new design as long as it is NOT these purchased designs. But, I have a 12 month non-compete on any design. At that time I'll decide what I want to do in terms of releasing more or staying away completely.

The terms read I can make products for complete custom builds as long as they are not reproduced in multiple runs or resold in multiples. But, I think staying away for the 12 months is what I will do just to make sure there are no flags thrown or bring any attention to the "deal" that may want the new owners to think I had other designs not released that were previously designed.

My focus will be on regular fabrication items; racks sliders and other offerings and expand Tough Dog as it is now more popular and has some teeth in the cruiser market now. Plus lets me look at true custom builds on a quarterly basis.

All,

After this week of bumper inquiries and orders I am NO LONGER accepting any further BUMPER orders. I have 2 people that I have been talking with for a bit of time and will still allow them to order (if before 5-30-18) but that's it.

Thank you all for your continued support on the bumpers for the past 5 years. Look forward to working with you all on other cruiser items I will be developing moving forward.

Thank you,

Jason

I've had a few questions on what I'll be adding to the 80 line card since bumpers are no longer available. (I sold all of my designs except for 3- 1 is an 80 series, to be announced)

Still available:

Tough Dog suspensions (parts or kits)
Tough Dog adjustable solid bar panhard bars
Sliders
Creeper Skidplates
Racks and mounts
Extended swaybar links
Rear lower control arms
Rear upper control arms
Front and Rear tow mounts
6 and 8 button accessory switches for LED lights, ARB compressors, lockers, etc..
U-joints
Aluminum tailgate lids (as demanded in a group order)
Sand recovery boards
ComeUp Winches
Roof Top Tents
Awnings

Coming soon:

Hidden winch mount
Rear antenna/ LED pod mounts

Always open for ideas, so throw things at me and see if there is a group interest.

This guard (pulled it from their website) Seems simple enough. If I can get 10 guys I'll make them.

I'll look this week and see what I can come up with.

There's something off with the pics. IIRC, The 4 bolts from side to side is where the steering stabilizer bracket bolts to. The pic shows the stabilizer much further back. So either the 4 bolts are just for that forward round plate, which is in front of the radiator and lines by several inches, if memory serves me correct as a reference point of the radiator and has nothing to do with the radiator/stabilizer guard or there was some sort of stabilizer relocation to push the stabilizer further back I'm not seeing.

Hmmmm...I'd definitely be interested in a paperclip guard. Let me know if you'd like a '97 to test fit. I need to swing by anyhow.

Pic does a fair job of showing the gap to be filled, and mounting holes:

Got it cut and bent, need to make a hole change and one bend change. I may move this to the front two frame holes instead, but then the 5 supporting holes are deleted and makes a better angle for the guard.
