doing a job right now so close to the ranger station i could almost throw a rock there. i will prolly stop by after work this comming week, if you wanna meet up that'll be fine. (we could stop at harolds for a beer)

Assuming they're still open when I get back to this end of the Valley.
I usually get out at 15:30 or so, and then it takes about 45 to get to the Cave Creek exit.

Rhino or John,
Have Either of you stopped by the Ranger station to talk to them about this cleanup? Is it still on?

what happened, nobody wants to do a clean-up? i stopped by the ranger station, they had smiles and wanted me to give them a call for a possible donation from them for trash bags and a free pass to the landfill. i was going to take my ford and the big trailer. keep us posted.

I know that you were in, I would like this to be a club organized run/trail clean -up. It is great to get the support of the FS. Thanks for stopping in there:) This will happen sooner than later.

I am thinking Sat Dec.4th. This would give us enough time to re-organize this. I am planning on a time schedule so everyone will know what is expected, supply a few extra tools for cleanup and a raffle with a few prizes at the end for the effort.

So here we are - 50 days to sign up for first Copper State Cruiser " Bloody Basin/Verde River" trail clean-up & raffle. Act now, sign up right here with your name and a yes! - Operators are standing by

I am beating the bushes locally for raffle donations for the first trail clean up at Sheeps Bridge on Sat Dec 4th.

So far the count is 3 - Me, Bman, and Rhino Please sign up here now, if you want to take a few hours of your time, see some friends, ride the trails, see the river, eats some great food, listen to great music, and enjoy your participation for a much needed trail clean up.

How is the trail back to Sheeps Bridge? I may be able to get a small (4x8) utility trailer to haul back there if she'll fit.

Yes it will, I am going to be driving a stock 04 Tacoma TRD. From the top of Bloddy Basin RD Exit 259 off 17 N it is an easy ride the last couple miles are kinda rocky and bumpy.

Anyone have access to a torch to cut up a couple cars, they are not in one full piece, it would make it easier to load up.

I will get a dozen of those hand picker thingys so it will make lifting little trash easier.

Have you heard back from the verde river folks, and or the FS ?

OK the count is now 6 - Me, Bman, Rhino, Rushes55, xrock, and rightlane
