Too far north. Too far east.
OK, I need an education. My Venza needs tires. Since the tire sensors are unknown I'm going to replace them. I've ordered Toyota parts. Will Discount Tire install and program them? What is the process here? Do they charge extra to install and program? Discount Tire of course sells TPMS sensors, but they were only $5 cheaper than Toyota.

Usually Doscount will destroy your sensors and tell you that the valve core was corroded in and couldn't be removed. They will happily sell you the sensors and program them. I am pretty sure you can add them if you have Techstream.

But to answer your question, yes I believe Discount will install and program your sensors.

Thanks. Hopefully they will install and program what I hand them instead of forcing me to buy from them. I did stumble across Techstream doing the Google thing last night. I don't have it.

DT installed a set of TPMS that I dropped off with them. I programmed the ECU myself using the Carista app. Do yourself a huge favor and take a photo of the sensor IDs before handing them over to DT.

If they bung it up and you have those codes, we can help.
