Looking good Ryan. One little sidenote, pay attention to the fuel filter your first couple hundred miles, you might have to replace it or clean it out pretty frequently. After a few years of sitting my gas tank had a lot of nastiness in it. The fuel filter started to clog up after it worked all the crud loose. Of course this is all negated if you cleaned it out before putting it in storage.

My original tank was garbage. Got another one and had it cut open and sand blasted. Rewelded and pressure tested. Then he put a sealer in it. He told me that he has not had a tank go bad in 25 years. Thanks for looking out for me. I'll still keep an eye out in my filter bowl.

If any 60 owners are close to Knoxville, TN and wouldn't mind helping out with the dash wiring, lunch is on me. I can figure out the gauge cluster and a few small things but need to hook up everything else.

2015 wrangler seats. Now that's a new one. Then again, no one has the same 2 seats. Volvo, bmw, Saab. Always something different

Didn't have to do any mods to the drivers seat. Only had to drill two holes in the bottom of the seat frame on the passenger seat.

Are these extensions coming off the back side of the front fenders just for the mud flaps? Is there any reason to have them if not using the mud flaps?. Was thinking of cutting them off.

no, dont cut them off, one hole is for flap iron extension.
flaps are way lower than the iron, or hj60 is different...

Keep those on, they line the fender all the way to the rocker panels.

Got some work done yesterday. Mocked up the inner fender wells and the fenders. I know they will have to come off to get the front doors on, this is mock up. Got the rear quarter glass in also.

Might have some help coming by on Monday to help with the dash wiring. If he does, I'll be real close to driving the beast out of the garage for the first time.

Made a template for the center section of the front bumper today. Hope to get it cut out of steel tomorrow

Trying to figure out the water lines. Got all of them in but can't figure out two of them. One line on the fire wall that goes to the rear heater line, and one from the hard line below the a/c lines. Tried drawing a picture to show what I'm talking about. It's not a good picture, drew it at work real fast. I'll post some pics also.

The picture of the red one is not mine. It shows the one on the firewall that I'm talking about. It comes out of the center of the heat shield. The Blue hose comes off of the t-stat housing and goes to the heater controller above the two heater core lines.

Soooo close! Looks awesome!

Thanks sir. Can't wait to drive it. Been in the garage for three years now. It's time, may not make it to GSMTR again this year but will be driving it this year one way or another

Didn't get a whole lot done this week. Did however get the rear marker lights, rear vents, and drivers front and rear door panels on.
