According to school of Red Green, duct tape should be used in place of rope. Rope doesn't distribute the load over enough area

Look at what I found. The bastards that import and then subjugate the finest Land Cruisers to a life of eternal damnation in a mine!! Miller Technology here in North Bay imports then modifies them for life in mines.
Don't believe everything salesmen tell you ........ stock they float pretty good with no one on it but tend to want to float upside down just like the rest of the brand names.
Anyways , back to LandCruisers:
As someone who's worked on a lot of dubious old wooden boats, floating and not sinking are not necessarily the same thing.

input gear in the tcase. Factory version has only an inch or so of spline, and they get loose and eventually strip.
These used to be called " macnamara gears" (maybe still are?) because that was the name of the dude making them. They seem to have come way down in price now, terrain tamer or someone like that must be doing them.
I have some play in my tcase on the 61, I don't know for a fact yet that this is the issue, but it'll be nice to have one less thing to think about.

Outfitters. Shipping is brutal and thanks to the Orange idiot I get hit with duty, but still cheaper than the alternative.

Haha I’m just jealous.
But really let me know if you are ordering from then states I would split the shipping taking some of the sting out of it. I also need most of the same things as everyone else.

Duty is annoying tho, I don't remember getting hit with that before dip**** got in charge. The shipping cost is why I didn't ad a tcase kit to the order tho. (don't think I really need one anyway, but I guess I'll see soon enough)
I might do an order from that Online auto parts place in aus soon tho. I need longer speedo cable, they carry the 5speed 40 series ones reasonably cheap, so I might do that. I don't remember needing to get a longer one before, but who knows what cable I was using.
It's possible there's a factory extension out there from a different toyota, but
