I think that guy need to apply his refund to a restoration. Then claim the restoration
against upkeep on company truck. As you can see I have a vaguely clear understanding of tax law
Not much money needed, mostly just time. Needs rear 1/4 skins and the tub repaired with the almost rust free sheet metal I already have.

For now I’d rather drive it than pull it off the road for a long restoration. The kids are young and wouldn’t get to ride in it for a long time if I cut into it. :(

The P/S needs to happen sooner though. :D

In the last week all the newer vehicles have been giving me grief... the cruiser hasn’t since the $300 motor died after 21 years (a few years back)... other than the 23 year old electric fuel pump last month... but it had been giving me warning signs for a few years.

Is this your 40? Why is the seat on the ground? More Kootenay’s stuff you are teasing with?

Yeah that’s mine. The seats are out because we used to sleep in it instead of a tent. Get where your going, 8 bolts and take the seats out then you have about 7 feet of length. I had a box for the back with drawers and used to fill the seat wells with the packs under a flip forward deck. It was great except for the dogs which used to sleep under the 40 and would be covered in oil haha.

So now a 60. Where is the 40 now? Good work on the doors, I did the same.
Plans are to start back on the rolling chassis of the 40 this winter. Be nice to have it back.

Still have the 40 the wife agrees I will be buried in it when I die. It’s in the middle of a going on five year $20,000+ makeover. And I think I might have wrecked it I would be afraid to leave it on the side of a logging road now while I’m off on a adventure. So I that’s what the 60 is for now although it’s been growing on me too... ah well who wouldn’t want a driveway full of cruisers.

At least it’s running. Mine is in a shed. I won’t be buried in mine, cause the fire that causes my death
won’t leave anything to bury. You haven’t seen my driveway. I miss the brutal steel simplicity of my 40.
Can’t wait to get it all together. Thought the BJ74 might do it, but it’s just too fancy.

Haha So stupid I was wipper snipping my gravel driveway of weeds. The wife walks out so I stop and she says what happened to your truck! I turn around and the window is blown out. Shoot!

Desert Ops Patriot X1-N That’s just the trailer and it lists for over $31K. Look it up in Overland Journal, where
the money goes.

Lol, with a name like that I don't need to ask what country they're trying to market to.

 Our old house looked like someone fired a machine gun at the siding on one side....kinda ran over some perimeter drain rock with the ride on.
