That is a pretty fancy suspension package, I could be happy with that under my truck.

Are you being sarcastic or serious? That is the standard Prado suspension design with some aftermarket coils/shocks.

It's actually similar to the Landrover Disco 1 suspension (I only read into it recently). Although the Toyota parts are stronger. I've noticed a few 'Landrover' guys recently getting into Landcruisers. Funny enough, they chose the coiled version (Prados).

With the right shock/spring combo, here is what it can do (this guy actually used springs/shocks spec'ed for the landrover). Wish I knew about this before I bought my suspension a few years ago.

Guy and his dad are super good dudes, wonder what they have been up to...no longer involved with the club for a few years ago.

I did it again...

Did they figure out papers for it? If they know who the owner is ICBC can reissue papers to said owner. Looking forward to seeing it. What are your plans for it?

Am I a worse addict for having only one... for 28 years.

I currently have 4 haha. Yeah they they got the papers in order it was a deceased parent. It has serious bondo issues. The 3b hasn't turned over in years so some valve springs are probably collapsed. The frame is saveable the tcase and trans appear to be in great shape. Someone liked to paint!

I have another 1978 bj40 that runs but has bearing material in the oil pan and no wiring harness at all someone chopped it all out!? The fame is in great shape.

So my plan is to cull the heard down to 3 and have a cruiser for the girl to drive (I need two to drive myself) I will save the 78 with the wiring harnes and other parts from the 80 Both have working h42s and tcases but I happen to have a spare 5bearing 3b and h55 split case...

I thought all five bearing engines had the oil filter upside down?

Dident know that, just assumed it was as it’s out of a 1985. that filter housing is off a 81 block. Pointing down is better less messy and more room for a turbo.
