Ha, Richard's Bay....I spent a few months there in the early 90's. Probably tied up not that far from where those pics were taken.

Amazing game reserves nearby...take your plate number when you drive in, and then you're let loose in the woods. Doubt anyone would notice you missing if they didn't stumble across your car, or find obviously human bones or your wallet in a pile of animal dung.

Small town, was still scary as hell....I miss the Billtong, but not enough to ever go back.

I'm going back soon, won't be long now.

Guy in Ireland put a 1HDFTE into a LJ78 Prado. With no MODIFICATION to the front end metal. Swap of the year IMHO!!

Well then. No more dinking around with those 4 cyl's! Are we looking for a donor now? I figure Nick is the only one here
who could pull it off.

Definitely one of my dream motors for these trucks. The version that guy put in his Prado makes 202 hp at 3400 rpm with 317 lb·ft of torque at 1200-3200 rpm stock!! I bet that truck moves. And runs cool and efficient to boot.

well, there goes the last of the excuses for not doing a swap...

funny how a 6 drops in where they say a 3b won't fit.

1hdt and a 12ht are pretty similar in size, he thinks to himself as he listens to a 60 body quietly rust...

He pushed the rad forward into the grill. There are probably some downsides to that, but would have to see some better pictures to see how exactly he did it before judging.

Missing connecting rod bolts?? Cause I know if I popped those pistons in and turned it over, they'd just
fall out onto the floor. But extra credit for the elbow stuff on that one piston!
