And to think I just took my cruiser off the road for some TLC. Perfect timing....

With all the rain we've had, I'm thinking the mountains have had a huge dump of snow. I usually do a little snow run with my kids on the 24th. It's become a bit of a ritual. They have fun sledding for a bit etc. Would be pretty sweet this year.....if my cruiser were on the road.

No snow in Victoria so far....

Ugly wet stuff in Cassidy all morning. Branches breaking, trees all the way to the ground. Gonna be a wet day!

Ranger Danger!! Can't blame original post thought it was a Toyota. This little adventure occurred in Richard Bay, SA.
Someone noticed this out in the bay at high tide..

Then at low tide a Jeep came to the rescue, Yeah right. It too got stuck.

But as in Africa, one wants to be sure not to disturb the locals, as the locals might just make recovery a dangerous idea.

In the end it was discovered to be a Ranger.

Moral of the story, drive a Toyota and don't get stuck at high tide worrying that a Hippo might just get you.
