I've got a turret šŸ˜. Or maybe it's Tourette? Tic, tic...

Hell of a lineup... Ive been trying to buy a volvo valpen here but my fiance isn't that thrilled about the idea unless it's a camper.

Which of course means it would need a little more room....

Those Volvo's are pretty capable units too!

So, I'm not a LC hoarder. The white 'HJ62' is mine, the brown HJ60 my wife's, the grey 'BJ62 ' my daughter's, and the BJ74 is a friend's (it's packed up like a mule with saddle bags for the BCOR show this weekend). The Pinz was 'adopted' and right now gets as much love as an orphaned waif - not it's fault; it blames the Cruisers for taking up all the maintenance time! I love them all equally, no favorites šŸ˜„

Hey now, don't go giving her even more ideas....

Let's stick with "camper"... Good news honey! I bought us a motor home :hillbilly::hillbilly::hillbilly:
As long as it fits 3 child seats for the triplets and has a full diaper change studio for you to work in, she'll probably say yes to the Volvo.

Probably, but we all know you're persuasive:flipoff2:

She’s finally done!
2 years…8 months…and 21 days later
Big thanks to everyone here for all your support and help along the journey with this project and also to Steve at EBI Cruisers for finishing off all the nickel and dime technical gizmo things to make it go vrrrooommm…
Am flying over to pick her up tomorrow and god willing driving her home. Looking forward to doing sea-trials off road this weekend šŸ‘

Great advise! I never leave the rock was just going to cross fingers but will definitely reserve. I’m going to have to come check out your new tent, congrats!

It’s on! Gonna get hot in the summer. First thing I mounted it to the rack and couldn’t open it! D’oh! So under advisement I pounded an appropriate bend into the handle so I can get it opened. It has grey sides fabric which will be nice in Yukon since it’s not very dark at night up there. Better bug screen. Will be trying it out this weekend.

I think you’re confused… in 32 years of ownership I’ve only ever had two times I chose not to drive it home.
The first time was my fault… I replaced the cam and didn’t replace the rockers. The previous cam had 5 round lobes and swapping in a new higher lift cam led to the bottom of one rocker cracking out. Rather than limp it home, I stayed overnight and did a parts run the next morning.
The second, at 11:30pm, the bolt in the middle of the block heater broke off. It dumped all the coolant out the frost plug whole. Ir was easier to park it and deal with it in the morning than limp it home.

There’s nothing more reliable than a wet maintained Landcruiser, nothing

Dump run this morning got delayed by the bankers hours they seem to have now.
I have to pull the rear shoes off the 60. Not too happy with braking and the E brake needs looking at. Hope your first run goes well.
If something happens and you need me shoot me a text.

At parents ranch. Checking on the range/cows.

Filled tire treads and wheel wells with cow s*** despite my best efforts, haha. Hosed/scrubbed it off in an effort not to disturb yuppies in the humid hot lower decks of bc ferries on the way home today...lol.

Ever wonder what the front 3’ of a modern Toyota looks like under the tin?

Not much there… and I’ve had bicycles that weigh more. So thin and co little metal. I suspect the rockers of an Fj40 are beefier than the ā€œframe railsā€
