Down near the Bay Street bridge…

I saw that driving south on Thursday evening around Ladysmith.

It's funny, in the last week I've seen more 40 series than I have all year. Always when I'm driving to work.

There was a really shiny tan 40 on highway 18. (Looked like it just came out of a paint booth)
A dark green one on the highway headed north, a blue 42 with a bikini top near the hospital and that blue one above.

There is a red BJ40 1981 a local fire man and along with his co worker that has a 1982 bj42 converted to h55 local, also a guy parksville has his dads BJ42 1984 full resto with stainless body from France, one of the best restose I have ever seen. Cannot miss the owner, about 6 foot 9 and makes Jason from Radd look small but of course the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Yeah I've met the firemen. Brent? From campbell river , used to stop by after his night shifts when he was at the chase river fire hall, actually bought the 3b in my green truck from him.

Forgotten the other guys name, his 40 was a little rough around the edges, the wiring was impressive. :hillbilly:

Yes Brett from Campbell river and then there is Brent in Duncan with the primer BJ42? There is Toney in Nanaimo, fire fighter who drives a red BJ42 and Ralph who has a thread on mud for his build Cresent Wrench he is the guy who lent me the liner puller tool. Builds - BJ42 Restoration - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bj42-restoration.789132/

I was in Duncan visiting the surgeon at the hospital when I saw a bj42 that Jay and I built years ago, full aluminum tub and fenders bj60 axles with lockers, hunting rig. Also passed a bj61 we use to work on and a super clean hdj81 with 1hdft engine.

Ha.

The double tap is now a condition of employment where I work, and there are an alarming number of antivaxxers in the department.

Should be fun to watch that shake out.
Today in various parts of the world three people were shot for questioning antimaskers/antivaxxers.
A couple were forced from a sports bar in Dallas for wearing a mask.

Some ———- on this forum has decided they are not really a real funeral home. So I looked.
I‘d say they own it. I actually find it funny that anti/ everything people are offended by it.
For the poor souls who still suffer after vaccination, it’s not really so funny.

I just relieved my anti vax co-worker. He was sitting in the dark wearing sunglasses because of a headache.

So that's awesome. There's so much disinfectant in this office right now my eyes are watering from it.

Computer had "Ivermectin covid treatment protocols" open on it.

Love those pictures @cruiserpilot . I'd love to move up to the north west of BC somewhere. That is my sorta country. The fewer people the better...lol. Beautiful country; thanks for sharing.
One of the better times of the year to travel in the back country. I think couple old club members did a trip up North, few pictures on crack book, Asutherland and Slowandsgteady. Sounded like a cold trip for sure up at those altitudes, Cam said it was worth the it even double sleeping bags:oops:
