Even with the absence of this "form 1", the Cruiser is legal drive on Canadian roads?
All of that descriptive language (HZJ75 and beyond) is on the title? My Canadian spec '85 BJ70 just said " 85 Landcruiser" when I got it registered here in AK. Oh, and tell us the convertible top doesn't leak.

My title is clear and clean and vin # is Properly stamped on chassis, engine bay, registration and cab
the top had only been off once since 1995 and the seals/gaskets do not leak. I didn't really catch on to your reply. Maybe I'm missing something

I was just wondering about the vehicle description, as it's printed on your title. Does it only say "1995 Landcruiser", or does it list the specific model -HZJ75.

Thanks for your concern gashog, my paperwork is all up to date and in proper legal order. If you were at all interested in purchasing my 75 you can give me a call or come by and take it for a spin and go over the documents with your own eyes.
My personal paperwork/plates/vin# Is available in person when viewing the truck with nothing at all being hidden or misrepresented.

a few mine trucks were bought new, plated and titled as street legal in the 1980s and 1990s before toyota cracked down. they are grandfathered. one of the coastal cruiser guys had a 97 pickup which he says toyota tried to buy back from him.
being street legal in canada is a long way from being legal to import in the us though.

the 75 series truck was NEVER for sale by Toyota Canada for public use. OFF road use only.
for the last few years Toyota Canada is even keeping track of which company received the 79 series, which mine that truck is going to and which parts truck owner is purchasing it, full paper trail.
so those guys that buy the later units ... watch your ass.

Many States, including my home State of Georgia, are making a concerted effort to monitor the registering and titling of both new and used vehicles. ( mostly for tax purposes ) They are paying far more attention to the documents that accompany the vehicle.
there is a red bj75 in williams lake so i think you are mistaken.
the 3 legal ones are white, all were HZJ75.

it isn't worth arguing about, if you say the BJ75 was sold buy Toyota Canada to the Original owner right off the lot then who am i to say it wasn't.
i have a white BJ7* sitting here that is licensed for the road ... it isn't what it claims to be.
i had a registered 1998 HZJ75 using the factory vin off the frame that matched the vin plates. it was an exmine truck. it had no form 1. if customs wanted to they could take it and crush it.
i also registered a 1995 PZJ75 using the factory vin. no form 1. customs could also seize that one and crush it.
IF the present owner of the BJ75 isn't the original owner than who knows where that one came from.

pretty sure the 97 i have seen is grey. the owner said he bought it from ems. he was a member of coastal cruisers and may still be.

the red BJ could be a number of possibilities, it could be a exmine truck with a swapped on 75 box from somewhere. it could be a SA import. it could be a euro import truck.
i can state that ENS NEVER sold a 75 to the public, no industrial shop is going to risk their ability to import trucks to convert for one or even a dozen trucks being sold to the public. think about it, would you risk your weekly paycheck to do something illegal? probably not.
in the end, it doesn't matter. anyone is welcome to take the risk. it isn't my money that is being invested.

BJ atarted in 85 and stopped in 1990 so 2000 to 2005 would allow it in legally.
