You'll love it. The only minor complaint I have is they the foam of the mattress could be denser. Granted, it's still better than sleeping on the ground, but a little more cushion would be good.

Yeah Heather is right, my two nights in the RTT were fine, but the mattress needs some help. Problem is you don't have too much room in there when it's folded up, so any thicker mattress or topper will have to be removed when you break camp.

I'm gonna take a 2" foam pad with me on the next trip, see how taking it in/out of the RTT every day goes.

I was able to pack 3 pillows and a comforter in there and still fold it up. I'm thinking about putting my self inflating camp pads in there and then seeing if it still folds.

Mine was tight with 2 sleeping bags and 2 pillows, but it's also a lot smaller tent. I love the fact that i can leave that stuff in there and out of my truck.

The inflatable sleeping pad is a good idea.

What about replacing the whole mattress with memory foam?
I'm saying just pull the stock foam out and put Memory foam in its place. No extra pads needed. I'm sure it would fold up just the same.

Mine seems OK. Maybe they started making it thinner.

My issue with the memory foam is the price. For my tent (which is bigger than a California king, I'd have to order the foam and cut it, blah, blah. I priced it a few places and it was a lot.

people.....it's not that difficult......DRINK ALOT, crawl up into said roof top perch and go to sleep.

If said bed is "to hard" go the military route and sleep on ground 1st night....after that it will feel like the abominable snow man is giving you a big warm hug.

ppfffttt......cutting memory foam!!! hahaha
