Your tent is ready for deep water crossings..

There is an awning arms race going on here :)

That's a big dude...10" mounting plate. Looks like it's almost a foot tall on the side of the truck?

The "T" brackets are 19.75" x 16". But the closed dimensions are L x 6" x 14". Not sure how that is possible but I do like the awning.

So this is a bummer about my trailer setup.

I love the fact that everything sits level loaded but I can't open the swingout

So after all the crazy s*** I dreamed up to fix it I just realized a 6" hitch extension will be the fix.

I'll get it installed and let y'all know if it tows right.

More length the better on these things just hope there is no sway

Should be fine as long as you have enough tongue weight. I think you will be fine.

Can't you just get a lower hanging hitch?
Looks like you only need a few more inches there Clark.

This one is the same diameter as the normal 20 gallon they sell at stores and would use the same base mount. I found one for $65 shipped.

What about the base mount? I want to mount this to the place on my trailer where I have the little tool box in front of the water bottles.

Google owns me on this. I found a BLING $100 mount but it is for the tall 2.5 gallon bottle not the short squat one

Check camping world or other rv places.
