Thoughts?

I got a better solution for the tent mount on my M416. When I was out at FrontRunner in June I saw these mounts that are designed to clamp to stock rails.

I found that I need a more rigid mount when I am using the Thule box on my 4Runner because when I was coming home from NC with the box packed full, it would start porpoising at odd times (crosswinds, trucks, 90 mph, etc)

So, I pulled the trigger on the FrontRunner crossbars for stock roofracks.

I can use it on my 4Runner for the Thule, mount my RTT up there if ever needed or mainly, it is my new setup for RTT on my M416. The mounts are sturdy and I already had the tent mount brackets.

I need to make a little spacer to make it truly fit where it can't move, but overall, for $235 it is a superb option for the M416 and RTT.

The old school Yakima setup I had worked great but the new models like @pmccraney and @under_psi got pinch from the inside and not the outside so they won't stay tight on the M416.
