Look what we found in the garage! Back in 1978 we bought a brand new FJ40 and kept it until 1998. Dumb us sold it to buy a new pickup. How stupid can you get!
So, the wife decided she needed a 65th birthday present. Over the last several months I've caught her looking at FJ40s on eBay. Having been married since 1974 I could tell this was more than just a casual itch. About 6 weeks ago I joined the search. I found a 1982 honey on Craigs List that had been listed for only a couple of hours. The owner sent me a bunch of photographs that I uploaded to an album. Check out the photographs. I was fully restored and painted in 2000 and purchased by the current owner in 2006. He has never off roaded. Claims it is 95% rust free. He appears to be telling the truth. If the mechanicals are as good as the cosmetics, we stole this critter. It has 106K miles. He put shocks and a clutch in it. He says is needs a brake power booster rebuild.
We go for the final inspection on the 31st.
I started looking in the garage and ran across this jack and tools that made the trip through time. The current owner says the original jack is in the Cruiser but not the tools. I'll probably sell this jack to help finance a tool kit off eBay.

Toyota Wrench Clips
Land Cruiser tool kits all contained wrench sets. The wrenches in each set were held by a metal or plastic wrench clip.
Although not a critical component of a kit, wrench clips are often that last, missing piece necessary to complete a vintage tool kit.
Land Cruiser tool kits through 1983 were supplied with one of these four wrench clips.

Can you recommend a replacement for, or something to use in place of, the red or yellow wrench clip which I assume are no longer available?
Thanks!
Pete
Could these be reproduced with a 3D printer?
