I have an o-ring kit I got from McMaster years ago. It has different sizes of cord, a razor blade and a little jig for making straight cuts. Then all you do is super glue the ends together. Works pretty well actually. Should work fine for that tool bag o-ring

I glued my original one. It lasted awhile. I suppose I could try to recut, glue and see how it holds up again. You can put the glued joint within the bracket to help hold it together too.

that hubcap replacement tool. I think that is for the 60-series. I think its for installing those black center caps.

Could be. Some of my junk came from the FJ60 that my 2f came out of. I don't know if it would be easy or possible to put on a hubcap with it. I'll try sometime. Knowing Toyota, it might work with both too.

YA I would like to know what years things changed like the spanner wrenches and the lug wrenches.

Anyone have a source for the giant o-ring used to hold down the bag? Grainger or something?

I have one in good condition for sale. Came off an FJ62.

I'll PM you.

man i would love to get my mittens on an early tool bag for my rig, nice man :D

Just keep looking. Mine found me. It was 1 wrench short so I thought heck why not check fleebay and you got it, someone was selling that 1 wrench in the exact style I needed. Now I'm looking for the feeler gauges and a grease gun.

Here my new acquisition. Untouched under a seat for ~ 30 years. Original rubber band on spark plug just about to break since I moved it around to clean the bag. Bag stained from the Rubber holder.

So all this tool bag thread is great...but what about us diesel guys?

What is in the diesel tool kits? I have never seen one so don't know where to start, all I know is there certainly will be no spark plug wrench/socket!

Cheers,
Daryl
