Made some progress this week. 2UZ installed and motor mounts built. Atlas 4 Speed installed. The Trans is an A340, I used the Advanced Adapter part number 50-5711, Worked great. Need to build a new trans mount and the drive train will be in!!

A local machine shop did the bottom end because it needed to bored out. He did the head too. They came out really nice!

The motor coming OUT of this truck still runs, but has low compression. If it doesnt need to be sent out other damages, Ill rebuild it here.
 
Fixed my broken steering arm studs on the buggy. Used chromolly Dana 44 studs.

12 years of sitting on a hot ass muffler got to me last weekend. Muffler is super loud also. It burned bottom of my seat over the years.
installing new muffler and resonator . also installing some type of heat shield under the seat

Is your rear case just locked into low range?
It is. I got a shifter but I removed it because I was hitting it with elbow. Was thinking putting it back and make it a stubby shifter.
 
New muffler in . Added a resonator so it’s even more quiet.
there’s gonna be a heat shield still between seat and muffler
