Made some progress today. Pulled the drive train and found a broken motor mount!

Jumped like 12 inches or more. Had too take it off the jack stands and set it on the floor in the middle of taking it out. Then I ran out of height in the shop using a fork lift. Lucky we only had to lift the tail housing a couple of inches and swing it as we lowered. Things you learn!!
I did bleed the nitrogen out of the top chamber to lower it back down so I can work on it.
I think the biggest difference is the new drive line is going to be a lot shorter, so I should be able to set it back further in the truck!!

Not sure but I think I may have pulled the wrong wire!!! Getting ready to rewire only what I need.. Time to clean it all up!!

Got the new motor and trans mated today. Cutting the old Motor mounts off of the frame tomorrow and hopefully setting the drive train in tomorrow, welding up new motor mounts this weekend if all goes well.
So got the motor in yesterday, but the side of the oil pan is hitting my upper link on the three link. Trying to source an upper oil pan lower oil pan from a 99 to 07 landcruiser. My 4.7 came out of a sequoia so it had a left had drop transfer case. Its always the little things!!
Thats what you get for buying Chinese!!! I am planning on using a boat heater for the buggy. with two outlets for hoses.

Haha. Heater in and making heat. Going to run some simple ducts to help direct the heat, but its time to go wheeling.
Nice!! A little flex duct and you are all set. I have a heater on my boat, that uses flex duct. The nice part is you can pull the hose out and move it to different people on the boat.

Ouch!! Looks like it was fun dragging him out in the snow...
He was pretty far up on the hill side with pretty much no steering. Once we got him around a few trees and back to the main trail it went much Better. Probably about 3 hours from the break till he was back on the trailer.
When he breaks it, he does a really good job of it!!
Took advantage of the milder temps yesterday to shoot a bit of paint. Tranny tunnel and gas tank cover done, so should be able to get the seats back in soon.
