I’ve never seen a disc implode like that! No data on previous owners or what happened, this is the truck that 4WDTO mag Guy was looking for help with, bought it at auction. But was curious what I was going to find when chunks of melted rubber fell and it sounded like I was playing Plinko when spinning to remove pressure plate bolts.... wall hanger for sure.

The frame on that truck is mint. Beyond amazing. C channels are complete.

Right? The tines on the pressure plate were all bent, and the disc itself completely imploded. I could only imagine how awful it sounded. And seems like it was used that way for a while.... smh

Replacing 4runner xrea shocks with some Bilstein 5100

Got intimate w/ my 60 and dig deep to investigate... wet driver side floor carpet and growly gears.
So glad for cool folks on mud. Couple gallons MT fluid and a bypass hose on route. Opened my transmission fill plug and she nearly poured all over me. Piss.

Also had Fj cruiser springs laying around. The lower seat loop was to small and doesn’t sit flat. The springs supposedly give 4 gen 4runner 3/4” lift. It’s actually 2” higher because it doesn’t sit flat in the lower seat.
Gotta pull them out before they fall out while driving.

Working on friends 05 4runner. I gotta do same bilstein shock upgrade on my 04 4runner. Just noticed the rear shock is leaking slowly. It also has the X-Reas shocks.

Gregs blue 40 is still there?

So jealous of the concrete!!!

I have to plan birf breaking accordingly.....
