Yes just send me a email at chairman@rubithon.com and I can make the changes. Just a fwiw. There will be a hard cut off for merch this year . So make any changes before May 11. We will have merchandise for sale at the springs but no guarantee on when it will sell out
Thank you. Will do if we have any changes

Thinking about registering, but the requirements are 35" tires with a 3" lift.

My LX450, with 35" KO3s, is running about a 2 to 2.5" lift depending on the load and if I am running a RTT.

Also, trying not to run rock sliders if I can avoid them.

Thoughts?

I will be building a 1985 4Runner in the future that will be more appropriate and more willing to take trail damage. 😉

It is my experience that rock sliders are a basic consideration for even moderate trails. Unless you do not care if your Cruiser sustains damage that was easily avoidable.

I have not been on the Rubicon trails before, but it is my understanding that there are sections/obstacles that will be more challenging than moderate.

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking of leaving the RTT at home as I am not enamored with it. Plenty of time to look into sliders...

Registered for the Wednesday Wagon Run.

Metal Tech makes great sliders. As does White Knuckle Off Road. Both are also supporters of Rubithon, and having dealt with both companies myself, you can't go wrong

That is good to know.

White Knuckle Off Road is one I am considering. I reached out to them to see if they can make the sliders without a cat guard as my exhaust runs inside the frame rails.

The 4Runner run is Sold Out . FWIW the Mini truck run is the same run just 2 hours behind and there still are spots open for that run . Only 4 spots left for the wagon run .

All signed up for the Huft Breakfast Run. Rubicon Newb, pretty excited to check if off the bucket list. Will be trailering my BJ60 from North East British Columbia, Hoping to convoy down with my buddy Martin coming from South East British Columbia.

Yup. Registered last night. Lots of work left to have my FJ40 ready, which is the plan since the girls declined coming along. If they change their mind soon I guess the BJ60 could be made to go.

And also first time to rubicon for me. Been thinking about it for years so really looking forward to it

You both are gonna have a great time! Breakfast run is a good way to go too

If you do not love your RTT now I think you will h8 it on the rubicon. There are some really tippy spots, like where I'm sure I'm gonna flop. I don't but it feels too close. The trees will also threaten a RTT. This is a trail I pack lightly for.
Sliders are sometimes handy for just maneuvering around a rock, use them to pivot on. I like mine as narrow as possible, without those kick-outs.

That's odd; traditionally the Wagon Run sells out quickly. Those 80 guys usually pack a full kitchen and know how to cook.
