TLCA numbers 20k +???

I saw someone on mud had a number in the 21XXX range.... Have we gone through 6-7k members in 3-4 years? Or was it a mistake?

I just got my card two days ago. My number is 17366 and I doubt that 21k series number is legitimate.

OK just got my card in the mail yesterday...

Member # 17404....

The letter said 4000+ active members. Doubt that all the 17403 are all still active for some reason of another.

It means that a whole lot of folks are no longer members. Total current membership is just over 4k. Total people who have joined since the DB was started is at least 17404, actually I think minus 1000 because I think the membership numbers started at 1000. I can't recall when the numbers in the DB were started but a number in the 1000s were early 80s.

I know for a fact that number 1133 was issued on 01/21/1992.
