I dunno, something to do with that weird cage hoop thing? Is that like a grenade launcher on it?It does look cool.
My mistake, Muskeg Snorkel. Must be that. I want the Plymouth behind it
Naw, just drive that puppy right up to Parliament Hill the way it is. Nick could follow behind to smoothMight have to remove the SS from the sides before going anywhere in it tho...![]()
I wonder if those steering tires do anything or do they just plow furrows when you turn the wheel?
Haha, I was wondering the same. I imagine the tires just free wheel and power/steering are all in the tracks.I wonder if those steering tires do anything or do they just plow furrows when you turn the wheel?
Maybe the steering wheel cuts the drive to one of the tracks when it's turned?
But then, if that's the case, why have the tires at all?

over the complainers.
Almost like they can be stubborn and refuse to change their minds or admit fault...Haha, I was wondering the same. I imagine the tires just free wheel and power/steering are all in the tracks.
Funny how the Jerries liked air cooled motors so much. As they persisted in VW Porsche for so long.
Seems like a lot to me, but 3Bs and 5 Speeds aren't cheap. If I had unlimited time and money I'd buy it and build a 4 door 45 on it with a box on the back. But neither of those are true so I'll have to live vicariously through someone else.

Seller's Description
1985 BJ60 Toyota Landcruiser rolling chassis with 3B engine and H55F transmission .. Selling as a set for someone who wants to do a body swap, not parting out at this point, get in touch for more info Maintenance Records for last 30 years available, frame was swapped from original about 15 years ago by EBI in Vancouver (receipts available, adapted FJ62 frame), Old Man Emu 2 or 2.5in lift in place, wheels and tires included, gas tank not pictured but included, engine ran beautifully before I took the body off, transmission works great, does NOT come out of 5th gear while driving .. Manual hubs and transfer case work, 4WD H and L ..Surface rust present everywhere with the exception of the frame doublers/stiffeners on the rear, those appear to be original to the FJ62 frame (rivets still in place) and need replacing .. what a time to do this than now with the body removed, eh? OBO
Its about $7500 too high. Just a tad contradictory??transmission works great, does NOT come out of 5th gear while driving ..

Ah, I guess he should have stopped with the last sentence. Brain fog from Cosmoline fumes I guess. The H55F was really just a H42 with a fifth gear external housing bolted on the back and had an inherent fault where some would pop out of gear while driving if one let off the gas while driving downhill.
He means to say his does not have this issue.
I had one that did that. Just randomly enough it was a surprise every time. Step on gas, voom... nothing happens. Neither have I. Keep getting these things to see but never do.
