Well there goes my math. LX450=80 therefore LX470=100 was what I was working on.

Well seeing that both of mine are 60s then I must be Old School with coils.
I kind of like the primer paint job. It would be a blast for summer cruising in Thompson and Fraser river valleys.

Just means that datsuns are well behind the times if your bubble truck is not tagged as 80 or higher, thus again proving the Land Cruiser is far superiour to the lowly pathfinder!

Well, at least the Pootrol came with a real steel OEM skid plates and not a bit of plastic.
I also loved that 3.0L engine in the Pathy's: fuel efficient, strong and dependable. Only down side was the tendency for stock exhaust manifold studs to snap and manifolds to warp. Sound effects were good though.
Unfortunately the frame and chassis metal followed Toyota's lead.

I actually went and looked at (and rode in) this truck about a year ago.
The photos ARE very deceiving. The roof is rusted right through on one of the rear corners, lots of other scattered rust and the frame has some decent carnage/structural rust in front of one or both of the rear spring perches. Don't waste your time at that price
thats good to know. i actually considered it but never went to check it out. now i dont have to wonder any more. decided on an 80 series as i didnt want to deal with the 60's harsh ride.
