Yes it takes time and production distraction. I took that crisis as opportunity to fashion my life more my way, rather than everyone's else's way. I am pulling for you.:D

WOW.... This thread has everything... Tires, Some Good Pics, Heated Nerve Chewing, Heartache and Struggle, Support for a Comrade... Love It!

Ya Greg, what were you thinking starting such a sensitive topic as "tires", next it will be which winch is best: hydraulic vs electric vs pto. I'm going to need therapy.... cruiser therapy.

Come out for overnight run - get away from the city - :princess: and kids:crybaby: and house obligations :wrench: - great therapy and we will smoke the peace pipe :hillbilly:

I'd love to but I would not be able to keep up with you guys. Even the little drive out to Hale bagged me out for a couple days. But when I am better, I am in for sure.

Ya, Patrol therapy is good for any ailment - :ban: oops, I meant to say Cruiser therapy. :flipoff2:

They only way to learn and have fun - we are patient (at least the older guys are) – we never leave a rig behind.

He kept saying (and still does) say he's going to get a 'cruiser, now he's holding out for a pig
He does make a mean pico de gallo, worth keeping him around for that alone

Who was it that voted the Nissan into the club anyway? ;p

Everyone is allowed an error in judgment, but when a whole group makes it, then they were either all drunk or it was for a very good reason. :D

I had my hopes that my son would fall in love with a 55 and that it would be a father son project. Seems he has fallen to the lure of fast cars. :meh:

Perhaps I will also bring some of my salsa verde. Guaranteed to burn the plaque off your teeth; so it should save you a visit to the hygienist. Could be a good thing or a bad thing depedning on what your hygienist looks like.

Cooper

who is the Cooper tire dealer in the Lower Mainland ?

Also looking for a tire balancing package as paying for one-off balancing is running me $70 to $95 per set of 5.

Well, that was Christians video of the idiot...

Only if ATEB John does his magic on it first. You notice his little departing burnout at the meeting last week? That is the first time I saw rubber burn on a diesel Cruiser and it wasn't from a belt. :D

So what a rad hose?

I did a search on the Cooper site, and came up with:

EXCEL PRO TIRE SERVICE LTD.
1643 STAMPS ROAD
DUNCAN, BC V9L 5W2
(250)748-1211

I would go with balancing beads, they have worked great with the worn 37's Super Swampers that were hard to balance with regular weights, and have been great in my new Coopers as well. You wont have to worry about losing a weight on the trail, or being too out of balance when collecting mud and rocks in your wheels or tires. Your probably looking at $9 to $15 per bag depending on the weight you need for the tire size, and easy to install. The bags come with a new valve and no leak sealed valve cap.
