Kumho HTs on the diesel...will be putting MTs on the cruiser when it needs new shoes. I have been impressed all to hell with the HTs so I am willing to bet on the MTs.

I will say this about those no name tires, they do have interesting tread patterns. I sort of like the second one with the siping.

www.sandcruiser.com used Kuhmo MTs on their journey. I wheeled with them once and they seemed to work pretty well.

Sometimes you can find out who makes those no name tires. Used to be if you went to the cooper site you could find the other brand names they sold under. Just checked it and can't find it, but they're usually made by someone big and just don't include the warantee, service, or name.

Tire B if you really want mud tires - decent siping.

If you don't really need mud tires - which according to your use profile you don't - go with Nitto or Toyo AT's - in your price range and excellent tires.
