I wish I could thank you for giving me complete and correct tire info, but I can't. I had to go to the Cooper Tire web site and verify your tire size - not one of my favorite activities. After all, I don't think it's too much to ask for folks to at least meet me half way when I'm providing info for free, don't you think?

My first impulse was to put just as much effort into my answer as you put into your question and answer you like this:

"Cooper does not make an ISO-Metric STT Pro tire in size 295/65R20 - sorry."

But then I thought, OK, that makes me feel better, but really doesn't help much, so...

I assume you mean the LT295/65R20 129/126Q Load Range E Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires. If so...

The RCTIP for those tires on your LX570 is 35psi F/R.

Duly noted, and thanks. Inconvenience understood and not intended!

I’m sure it’s in here somewhere, but I can’t find it. Need RCTIP for Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S 275/65/R18 116T SW OWL on a 2018.

Recently bought a '15 LC, currently stock. The tires on it are Nexen Roadan 285/60R18 116V (not my choice but the dealer put them on before I bought it). Anywho looking at the inside panel pressure recommendation is 33 psi, looking at Toyo pressure recommendations it is 35 psi. I am running that 35 psi currently. Would it be correct that the difference is the load limit of the tires. That is assuming I running the right pressure. Thanks in advance.

Not a tire I get asked about a lot, so I did some digging.

Here is the spec sheet published by Nexen Tire: Nexen Roadian

It shows the 285/60R18 116V is a SL (Standard Load) tire (actually shows it is NOT an XL (Extra Load) tire, so by default it is SL).

Here is a link to the Toyo Application Guide that shows the Load/Inflation Tables: Toyo Guide to Load and Inflation Tables

If you look on page 28 you will find the table for Standard Load ISO-Metric tires. Read along the 116 row until you find a value >2512 and you will see that 33psi is the RCTIP for these tires.

I don't know where you find, "...Toyo pressure recommendations it is 35 psi," but...

The RCTIP for those ISO-Metric 285/60R18 116V SL tires on your LC200 is 33psi F/R.

At the RCTIP, your Nexen Roadian tires will have the same (to the nearest whole psi) Load Limit as your stock OEM tires.

Hi,
I've been running the 37 in a LX570 and that does seem like the right pressure for the 285/17 for city and highway. But when I get to my wheeling spot, I'm at 41, so I air down and then it stays around 37 until shutdown. I definitely like the traction at 35-37, and that is still well above any normal recommendation for airing down. So what is the right approach to airing down?

This topic might deserve a separate thread; I'm loathe to off-topic the inflation pressure sticky.

If you would please:
LT285/70R18 E 127/124Q
Nitto Ridge Grappler on a 2011 LX570
Thank you.

Happy to oblige.

The RCTIP for those LT285/70R18 E 127/124Q tires on your LX570 is 35psi F/R.

Is there a thread like this for 100 series anywhere?

I know I’m jumping in on this thread on page 38 but is chalk testing still a thing or is there some magic happening in this thread that’s producing these PSI numbers?

Chalk testing was never a real thing - and yes, it's magic :poof:
