Thank to everybody. Links are great!
Now I understand how to do the spindel and what matireal is it made of.
SUMMIT CRUISERS Jr thread was exectly what I need. Do it little bit lighter and bingo!

So, we've all provided a pretty good mix of options for the OP. It sounds like manufactured parts options are pretty slim. He was asking about how to build a spindle and how to rig a latch. I'm guessing his access to Amazon and 4Wheel Parts is less than ours. I'm not a welder or fabricator. Anybody else have any ideas on how you'd rig something up without commercial solutions?

I've imported equipment into Russia many times. Transit time can be months. The cost of transportation is high. Official and unofficial "fees" are prohibitive. It can be done. Usually having a legitimate, and lucrative, business to ship to is helpful. Shipping parts as "samples" before adding value to them and completing manufacturing in Russia is more successful than shipping a finished product. I'm not sure what it's like for private citizens to receive international shipments, but this has been my experience. Any help we can offer would be good.

Yes yes man! That really so. I cant purchuse from USA((( You all do great things, but sometimes it is too expensive for us and couple of month of shipping is terrible. Thats why almost everething is hand made.
In russia I never find clutch like in comp4x4 website unfortenatelly.

Sorry to Derail:
Can we see some more pictures of Kamchatka?
I saw the Nat Geo Issue from there an it is breathtaking. It is very very very remote as well.
Might it even be better than Alaska, minus the politics?

I have my thread on mud. There are some pictures. Unfortenatelly I cant often update that thread, though I have lots of modifications and travels. And my english is poor? its difficult for me to write nice texts;)
