Well I got the $ for one right now.The question is witch one?It going in behind a h42.The question is what transfer case would ya run.I have a 1970 3 speed one, a 1978 4 speed one or I have a 1987 split case.Witch would you run and for why. It's going into a SOA small block cruiser.Locked front a rear.So what would ya do? Thanx

I'll have the axle parking brake.I'm running fj60 axles under the fj40.I will also have a line lock in the system.

sorry for the hi jack .. did you have pics or more detail in your line lock .. ( I have rear disk brake setup with monte carlo calipers but not very happy with the cable e-brake setup )

I run a 2000 psi ball valve for a line lock/parking brake. It works great and holds the truck good.

Why would you rather have an orion over a toybox?

Orion AND the Toy Box;)

2.48:1 in the toy box and 4.0:1 in the Orion. Twin stick on the Orion.

2.48:1 gears are nice for most trails, the Orion 4.0:1 gears will get through most everything else.

Stupid low (both) is just fun.

How do mini cases stand up? I think Mace is running one. I have heard they aren't strong enough for a cruiser, but they seem to douple up nice, and you would have more torque going through doubled minis or a 4.7 mini than a stock cruiser case.
