I just swapped in a rear driveshaft for a new one that I installed OEM ujoints in, and for a month or so Ive had a slight thud under truck (feels like its at TC) when starting from a dead stop. Not sure what it is exactly and it may seem trivial. But if nobody has taken note yet, I drive her a lot, she goes offroad a LOT at least weekly and this is bothering me, this truck is big but other than cessna single engine noise from nitto's its smooth and squeak free. I checked engine mounts, tranny mounts front and rear DS are new @OTRAMM did bearing and seals in TC tranny shifts perfect. what am I missing. or am I making a mountain out of a molehill.

Your slip yolk is worn.. I had the same issue until I bought a NEW oem drive line.. smooth as machine lube on glass now!

son of a ......... I just paid to have front DC and rear done. Ill have to hit up @beno thanks man.

Look into a 200 series rear driveline.. I understand it has almost twice the surface area in the slip. Cant vouch for overall length though, I believe they will interchange.

I wish I would have known about it before I bought my replacement...
