Throttle kickdown cable ? (1 Viewer)

I got a fj62 for $600 ... But the kickdown cable from the throttle to the transmission is broken ... I need a new or used one .. Try several sites and no luck .
Please somebody tell me where I can find one ..

You should be able to buy an OE kickdown cable from your local Toyota dealership for around $80. You definitely want new because these cables have a tendency to rust up and seize.

The only hard part is holding back the transmission side pulley so you can reinsert the cable. I ended up using a slightly modified automotive pick scraper to hold the pulley which left enough room to maneuver the new cable into place.
