First start up after timi g to 105 and 20k fluid. Previously the fan was staying engaged for 6 seconds. This was right at 2 minutes. I expect it to shorten up on initial startup lockup time after the oil has gotten into the passages where it belongs. When it gets into the high 90s this afternoon I'm going to drive it down the highway at sapped with the ac blasting.

ooh- you should contemplate running a filter/water/seperator inline from your pcv to intake manifold. You wont believe how much crap it filters thats just getting dumped into your intake and down onto your valves.........brown gooey crud distillates of oil byproducts.......that im sure cake-and-bake into a nice carbon on your valves.......if you like that sort of baking.

Might consider it but it has 30k on a fresh rebuild with all Toyota parts and Mobil One Synthetic changed every 7k miles so its pretty clean on the inside still.

Took it out this afternoon (94 with 20 mph cross wind) and ran it up to 75-80 on the highway with the ac on full blast and was able to only get it up to 206 while mostly cycling from 197 to 203. Previously in these same conditions it was running 206-210 with an occasional spike to 212 and once to 215. Idling with the ac on full blast in the sun it would stay between 197-201.

I'm running 315s with stock gears.

I may pull the clutch again and adjust the opening timing down to 95 just to play. I'm off work with a broken leg and can't work part time either so this will help with the boredom.

Works even better now that I adjusted the opening temperature down to around 95.
