I think that was Wob's ear........

Wob, that has got to go man. I vote to ban the avatar :D

Definitely the nastiest thing I have seen in a while. How long could it have been in there? looks like it was there a while or it just grew real fast. What did you use to get it out? Is the removed part dead or does it move around  .

Fawking sick

... Take the pics and tissue and dog to the vet, or post the pic in an online vet forum...

are those teeth and claws for sure? They may be a warts root. I have seen it before. When i was younger (8th grade) they had us do an autopsy on some cadavers and one older man had a HUGE plantars wart on his heels. It had roots like that upon further inspection. We also found his lungs looked like a heavy smokers although it was listed as a heavy smoker. We did some research and found out he was a bartender for years. Weird eh?

What kind of fawked up school did you go to? That's twisted. :D

Yeah, I thought it was a wart, too--plantars warts get those weird tentacles growing out of them. Now, if they were moving when you pulled that out with pliers, then it wasn't a wart. . ... :D

Did the object 'screech' when it was removed?

ick.

That really is messed up you know.

My father-in-law is a vet and I'd be ashamed to pull that pic out. Truly scary. Ban the avatar Wob. Think of the children...

Send it to the veterinary school at ur local university... some student/professor will have a hell of a project figuring out what it is, and then u ll know for sure.

It's PLANTAR warts, not PLANTARS, PLANTAR'S, OR PLANTER'S. The bottom of the foot is the plantar surface, so warts on the bottom of the foot are called plantar warts.

Not being testy, just trying to help.

If they were wart roots, wouldn't the roost be inside the dogs ear? The thing has claw/fingernails!!!

BAN WOB

well they would be the majority in the ear but they all trace back to the main growth much like a tree. Sure the main roots are mostly in the ground but you see parts of them around bottom of the tree- same idea. I am not 100% though as if it was a wart it would have probably been painful to the dog.

and Jman it was a school for us to decide if we wanted to become a doctor. or nurse. I wasnt planning on being one but i decided i would take the class just for fun cause my GPA was in the range so i could. I enjoyed it but im glad im not going to follow through on it!
