do not buy the aluminum radiator with plastic tanks.
this might save some one else from the headache

blew the tank on the way to a club meeting this morning, the truck did not go over 180 deg but my alt belt broke so all my idiot lights came on so i pulled of the road and as soon as i was getting to the hood it blew.
What a pity. And I read constant never ending post about all the (good deal) economy radiators out there. When you buy a $200.00 radiator, the third world gives you what you paid for---it's that simple.
Roger Brown (4crawler.com) bought an all alumunium radiator for a decent price and I think he was pretty impressed with it. You might investigate.

I paid 68bucks for mine through my discount when i was employed at a parts store. Haven t had one problem. Its been almost two years though, hopefully itll last for a while more.

thanks for the info. mine was 3 to 3 1/2 years old i ordered it off ebay the picture was a metal tank radiator, when i opened it and seen the plastic tanks i was going to ship it back. but my radiator at the time was totally shot, so i kept it. also it might have had a defect considering it blew at only 180 degrees.
