This is beautiful...somebody make it for me (60 headlights on an 80)! (1 Viewer)

I don't care about the valance fitting with a stock bumper. My rig has a great bumper already. I'm not going to bother with making this a kit for selling to others.

Yes, I admit I wanted a 60 but own an 80, that is why I tried the FJ60 grill insert grafted to the 80 grill. Also tucked the front bumper 2". If someone made a round headlight and 60 grill conversion I would have bought it too. Has anyone who speaks Japenese or checked on Japan ebay to import these (russian fj80 pic) ?

Its like a tractor...I like it.

Well they look awesome and I'd like to know more about the cost etc and who did them for you. Will they take a baby moon?

Hmm my brain is having a hardtime wrapping around "The Wonder" it's kind of cool and looks like a classic but it also kind of looks so hodgepodge, like they couldn't decide what to do so they just started slapping stuff on and stopped after they got tired. I like the wheels, the 60 front end I can handle but the wood and leather roof seem out of place. Lol

Last year when I went over to the nearest FLEX Cruiser retailer I found myself just staring at these trucks for an hour or so...kind of confused. They had 3 or 4 modded vehicles and after studying them for a while I'd look over at the regular 80's and think maybe that 60/80 look would get old fast. Both my wife and I thought they looked girly.... at least the examples we saw. I should go over there again one of these weekends and have another look.

Not sure anyone would ever call my rig girly, (unless the wife is driving it) but I think my front bumper will complement the round headlights.

Am I doing the conversion wrong or is are they only asking around $19K for those? The seats and dash look great, too.

The aluminium roof rack I bought here. But I think the shipping in the US is impossible or difficult.
The rack is very light and strong. I can easily pick it up with one hand.
The TJM bumper is also made of aluminum.
