Hello Toyota Landcruiser fans,
I am not an owner of a real landcruiser, but have an unusual request that I hope you can assist with.
I am a model railway builder, and I am looking at building a small narrow gauge layout which pays homage to the Snowy Mountains Scheme. As part of my proposed 1/24 scale project, I have a landcruiser. It is an FJ40 which I don't think was used in Australia, and is 1960 onwards. I will have to live with the slightly incorrect landcruiser, but need a good square-on photograph of the Thiess Bros "Kangaroo hopping over the Snowy Mountains" logo on which to base decals for the model vehicle. There is a photo in the early part of this thread that shows what I need, it just needs to be a bit clearer for my purposes. Even an old Thiess letterhead of the Snowy construction period may have what is required. Please let me know if you can assist, best regards Geoff Potter

i'm guessing this is the logo you're referring to.

i'll check my photos, but i don't think i'm much help
