Theory on preventing frame cracks around steering box and panhard bracket

I found what appears to be a crack along my panhard mount. Ordered the kit from @Delta VS and plan to install/have it installed soon. I have a mig welder, but am not so confident in my welding abilities for such an important component.

Can anyone recommend me someone in Minnesota who knows these trucks and can do the job?
