it is the same dirt that it recives at the front bumper...

But this is a race FJ62, so the winch is only at the vehicle when it race at the rain forest... 1 time by year.

fj62 RACE TRUCK?
isnt that an oxymoron? ;)

the joke means that fj62 and race trucks are opposites, that they dont work together. Like: jumbo shrimp, or military intelligence, or giant flea etc.

My friend, Diego Weber with his crazy idea of the winch position...

BUMP!
Can anyone ID this winch for me? Is it still commonly avail in the US? I'm looking to incorporate much Of Weber's mounting idea, which includes finding a similar winch. Most current winches are too wide to fit reasonably well (Like 22-24" wide). An 8274 is only 16" wide, but is 15" tall, and still spendy even if purchased used.

Ah, Pierce it is. Thanks for your help, Johnny.

any worries about not being able to rewind it properly on the trail and getting a birdsnest in the wire...with it being under vehicle and virtually unseen wonder how you would untangle if you were in mud.....got to have a good friend to crawl under there to help you get a tangle out. LOL

That 1st pic is B.A.!!

Cool setup. I had a centre mount on my Hilux, pulley in the back and wire along frame in several fairleads. With the distance from the rear pulley to the winch being over 1 meter, the cable would always wrap itself neatly on the drum. 👍
