So here are a few of the windscreen frame and part of one of the rear cargo windows. The cargo window frames and perfect.... paint is still very very shiny.
The windscreen frame has some surface rust as can be seen in the photo. But its shiny all around other then those areas. Wire wheel and they are good.

Howdy! This a a Piggy at Veedawoo State Park. I used to drive my FJ40 up on the rocks all over the place back in the 70s and 80s. Spose they cut that all off by now, darn it!! Some of the boulders are huge. John

you are correct... thats in one of the rest areas.... we took a days hike.... it happens to be one of my favorite pics too. :)

Are those military tires on stockers?

Those are military tires from a Volvo C-303. I bought them from Brian. They are mounted on TLC 16" split rims that I also purchased from Brian (ridgerunner).
I will be replacing them with 35x12.50x15 Goodyear Silent Armor's. Goodyear is out of that tire but they called and said they will be making me a set and sending them this week. :)

nice...

were those tires any good? What size are they?

good tires... had some wear being they will used.. but very nice in snow and mud... they were Viskafors 280/85x16's... works out to a 35" tire. thats 11" wide.
I really like them and wish they had worn better... but one of the rims is bent and the front camber is off some with the lift.... that will all be fixed now that the pig is being restored.

Today I pushed the pig out of the garage... I am still taking the wiring out.... and hve sold my LJ20's so I needed to get them out of the garage too for the new owner.... I have enough room to work now.... so the rest of the stuff is coming out this weekend.

Ok.. update... well after the bad news thread came out... and all the support... my wife went out to the garage with me twice and allowed me to do some work on the pig. I really didnt do anything on the pig its self... just organize the part parts and set up my next smaller goals I want to have completed on the pig.

I had already welded up the hangers for the FJ60 axles... well just the front rear hangers.. Im going to have to farm out the fronts. My brother said he would come over and help me do some things too.
My wife actually cleaned out the pig when we were on the garage. My symptoms arent really much better and I did have some seizure activity tonight... but even with that I feel better only because I was able to do some work...

well i need to get more sleep... thanks to everyone that lended their support.

Oh... btw.. before I forget... should I continue on with the rear axle install as an FJ60 or should I change to a 40 series FF rear axle?
