3. 1997 LX450. Has 86k original miles with factory diff locks. The build just began so not much has been done. OME 3" HD lift was just installed. MAF drop brackets going in today or tomorrow. 20mm spacers will be going in to level it out. Extended brake lines, bumpstops, and sway bar drops are all on order. New 35's will be on soon as well.

4.I plan to hit the medium to advanced trails here in socal like John Bull and the hammers. Plan to run the Rubicon next summmer or the one after.

5.Interests: other then wheelin, I have two boys Brody and Colton. Brody is 2 and coloton is only 4 weeks old. I also LOVE fishing.

6. Here's a couple pics of how she sat the day I brought her home. Since then the lift was installed, the running boards, spare tire and rear hitch were removed. Will be installing some 315's, sliders, and more lift components in the next couple weeks. Aftermarket bumpers will have to wait until the funds come again.

I don't drive an 80 but who knows it could be an addition to the garage someday. I currently have a 1985 BJ60 Turbo Diesel. Right now I am splitting time between San Diego and Los Angeles so I am open to adventures all over.

SoCal 80s was born from a thread that Mo (Slomo) started in the 80 Section of www.IH8MUD.com (.https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=79737). Our first official meet and greet was at the Wildomar OHV park above Lake Ellsinore on March 25th 2006. During this very informal meeting we decided that an off-road club should be started. The groups sole purpose was to plan trips together that centered around family, food and expedition type wheeling. In reality we owe a big thanks to NorCal 80s, as they were a great example of what we could become. From my experience the people of SoCal 80s are very considerate, kind, helpful, hardworking and family oriented people. The group was formed around the Landcruiser 80 series (Lexus LX 450) vehicles. SoCal 80s membership is open to all other makes and models of vehicles. Just make sure you have a good sense of humor and tools if own another brand. We also do not discriminate when it comes drive off-road driving experience. In fact we encourage people with no off-road experience to come out with us. There is not greater joy then to teaching someone about how capable his or her off-road vehicle is. So with that said post’em up!

Now for the official SoCal 80s salute, ************.

Not quite so crazy about my chiwawa pup of unknown origin that I found in the mountains on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere on the Cruiser's maiden voyage. But she keeps my lab companion while I work so she serves a good purchase.
