I had a 300 on order and when it came in I told the salesman I couldn’t live with the hatchback and kept my 21 LX 570. I now have a 25 LX700H coming in and I’m not sure if I’ll take it. I love my current 570.
They’re super nice! I just wish they had an arm rest like the 100s do. We still choose to take our 100 on long trips. If we need to make good time, we’ll take the 200 for the motor.

hey boss, like the look of your LC with the nomad wheels, what tire size are you running , and did you lift the suspension?
Yes, it’s lifted. You’ll also need to hammer the pinch weld and mold the fender liners.

They’re the +25mm offset Nomads. 285/75r17 load range C Falken Wildpeak AT4W which is rough 34x11.

Lift wise I’m at 21” hub to fender in front and 22.5” hub to finder in rear. Results will depend if you have bumpers/how much weight in back but my setup is:

-Dobinsons IMS shocks
-stock torsion bars
-Dobinsons C59-167 - 2" lift stock weight, 1.5" with 150-220LBS constant rear weight rear springs
-Dobinsons 15mm urethane spacers
-Firestone airbags (no air in the pics)
-Delta Vehicle Systems panhard bar drop bracket
-Dobinsons upper control arms

I don’t have any heavy duty bumpers but I do have drawers and a fridge in back. Super comfy with C load tires — way better the E ranges Falkens I had.

Nice ! Thank you for the detailed reply , just got my 100 . Will be posting soon

What was the main thing looks wise that made you not choose the LX...was it the hood? I prefer the LC
Hood, headlights, bumper, side cladding. I also really dont like the tail gate on the later model LX470 with the big lights next to the license plate.

If I was to do it over… I’d buy an LX and face swap it. The Cygnus exists so, why not?
I honestly priced out doing this because I had such a hard time finding a suitable LC. It just wasnt worth it price wise after paint.

Lots of nitpicking going on here between LC and LX. The outside looks are just skin deep - you get over them really quickly, IMHO. And once you do, you will start appreciating the how LX is objectively better than LC. You get better interior quality materials, better sound proofing, factory tint, powr folding mirrors etc.
On top of that, LX were better cared for by the rich soccer moms and were sold in larger numbers so they are easier to find and because average joe is clueless about their heritage they don't command the same price as an LC.

I am on my second LX and I can tell you the looks grow on you!
I am a die hard car guy and I have only ever purchased one car ever with the thought that I would get past the looks for the sake of it being a great vehicle. We owned a 17' GX460 for 3 years and there wasnt a single day that I didnt walk out to that thing and think "man thats one ugly vehicle" I think maybe an ARB bumper would have helped but it just never grew on me.

We (Land Cruiser) group of 12 allowed the 4Runner/Jeep/GX group of 15 complete their hike up in this narrow slot canyon.
📍Copper Cache, Nelson Nevada.
Level 7-8 out of 10 rated trail, includes some body/underbelly damage/scrapes but comes with the best stories to tell. 😆

Happy Holidays 🎄

Are those rear bags going to play nice with those coil spring retainers?
I assume the air lines are at the top of the bag?
