one of the best looking i've seen! what roof rack are you running?
Thanks, Friend.

These are the Eezi-Awn K9 roof load bars.

your rig is epiccc man. goals for my 01 lx. what roof rack?

It’s the Rhino Rack Backbone with Alu-Cab crossbars. I actually have it sitting in my garage (the Rhino Rack Backbone) with the hardware if you want it for $250. Would allow you to pick up the Rhino Rack "Rack" and full set up for less money.

I see you're in Colorado - PM if you want it - it's less than half what they MSRP for.

Especially since 35x10.5R17 is a thing...
Love my klever’s on my 17” wheels

EDIT: Well - these are my 34” hakkapellitta snow tires .. but still applicable. I’ll update with my new TRD Rock Warriors once I get them back from powder coating.

Been running the Kenda’s for 40k miles, a little louder than when new but can’t kill’em
Best RT + snow traction

I was so tempted to go the RT route and Kenda was in my list. Good to know it grips well in snowy conditions because that’s one of my concerns if I was to go the RT route apart from the noise levels. May go that route after my current ATs.
Alpha Equit Echo wheels for the win 🔥

So funny bc I was looking at your new 35x12.50s and instantly began regretting my 295/70s on the LX 😂

Tire / Wheel Envy is a real (and unfortunately incurable) disease

I had them on a GX and was very pleased with them as well. Great winter performance for me as well, though I didn't do any real snow wheeling with them, just snowy roads. I would say very comparable to my duratracs as far as winter performance.

Getting the FJ62 back on the road .. obligatory siblings pic.

Also, did ceramic coating on front, rear, aux lights and front windows .. interested to see if I can tell a difference between dirt and water/snow on the treated vs untreated windows.

I swear the ceramic coating made the windows more reflective .. it requires a “cleanse” treatment which in my opinion is similar to a ‘clay bar’ treatment: for glass.

Spent the weekend with two buddies exploring Big Ben National Park. We did over 100 miles on dirt roads and climbed Christmas Mountain, which was a highlight of the weekend. The old girl rolled 1.200+ miles with zero issues! Also, this was my first trip into a remote area with the LRA auxiliary fuel tank, I can't tell you about the peace of mind knowing you have options/flexibility and a much longer range.
