Drove from southern NM past Shiprock to the 4 corners. Then camped in Mesa Verde NP that same evening. Explored MVNP yesterday then drove to Moab, Arches NP, then over to Canyonlands NP for sunset. Camped last night at Dead Horse Point SP. Utah is pretty amazing. Crossed over 229,000 miles heading into MVNP. Want to hit one more park on the way back home, maybe Grand Canyon or maybe Great Sand Dunes.

Picked ours up yesterday outside Newark NJ, six weeks after dropping it off in Amsterdam for the return to the US after our ten months (18k miles) in Western Europe and Morocco. Fantastic trip (we’re five.overland on Instagram if you want a peek); LC needed NOTHING more than an oil change at the 10k mile mark.
Not actually a photo, so I hope you let it slide. But I decided I needed to brush up on my illustrator skills. I didn't put the trasharoo because I couldn't really figure out how to do it and be recognizable.

I got the starter done and then took it to Windrock for GSMTR. It was a blast. My second year; I swear by next year I’ll a) take a more fully prepped truck, and b) get more of a full weekend there. My two times so far have been just half of Friday and all Saturday.

Strongly considering getting rid of the tire carrier and putting the spare back underneath. No specific reason, just think I prefer going back to a minimalistic appearance for a cleaner look.
Welcome any input to help with the decision lol.

Tire carrier just seems like a hassle to me to be honest. I would get sick of opening and closing that carrier all the time to get into the back when the tire fits perfectly fine under the truck. Also aren't those tire carriers like $1K? If it were me I would toss the tire under the truck and use the money from the tire carrier to buy a bumper or skid plates or something.

Almost as impressive as the way you squeezed that Sheetrock on the factory rack - like it was made for it!
The swing out is justified for any size you can’t fit underneath. Esthetics are pleasing but yes an additional step to access the back.
This one always annoys me (especially coming from a fellow cruiser owner) can’t access the hatch
Yeah, definitely has some drawbacks. Think i'll probably start by taking it off and seeing how I feel about it before commit to keeping it full time.
