Painted Gorge : Ocotillo, CA
Is Painted Gorge open right now? I thought it was closed this time of the year.
We were camped to the east of the mountain along the wilderness border where it's open year round. Not sure about the gate for the trail up the mountain, I've seen it locked before but we didn't head up that way on this trip.
Finally got my first Land Cruiser; 2000 100 Series. Stock...for now. I’m the third owner. The second owner had her for about 16 years. Originally purchased at Tuscaloosa (AL) Toyota, according to the owner’s manual and service records. She has an appointment at the end of March with Atlanta Custom Cruisers (ACC Garage) to get a once-over, and to discuss plans for my build.

Rigged up a fire extinguisher mount to the jack tool cover. Where have you mounted your fire extinguisher, if you have one?
