Went out to see the aspens and found a couple neat trails (even some snow).

Woke to first snows outside of Jackson WY. Camping up on the Shadow Mountain FS road.

Got after some grouse in the hills tonight. Very steep mining road that was often blown out, muddy and up to a foot of snow--mostly all off camber. Only tracks were a squiggly quad (balsy) and some elk. Rig never even slipped an inch...it's laughable how insanely capable our 100s are.

Awesome, How did your RTT handle the cold?

bgolf247 - RTT handled cold similar to a ground tent (with a thick insulating pad). I do like entering from under the RTT (so a dry entry). Challenge is getting snow off the top of the tent (long handled brush would be good) and then drying the tent out afterwards in a multi-day camping scenario. Having a 15deg down bag also helps. This is the new Yakima SkyRise 3 RTT that I'm testing.

Took it on the ferry this past weekend
