The fam and I are in Colorado for the week. Drove a big loop through the Pike State Forest. We went to find some snow. Also drove as far as we could up Guanella Pass before having to turn around.

Headed up to Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas. Snagged a map from the ranger station in Mena, Arkansas and wandered around on back roads all day. Can't even tell you the last time I followed an actual printed map (zero cell signal), remember those?

It's a beautiful area for sure! Next time you're there give me a shout I'd love to tag along, I'm pretty familiar with parts of the Ouachita's. Where all did you go? Not sure how far east you went but Y City and Pencil Bluff are a couple beautiful areas to see as well.

Nice trip! Ive always wanted to camp up there with my trailer but didnt know if I could make it. My E-1 is a bit wider and larger but youve inspired me to try. How much water was there in Coyote Creek?

When was the last time you've been there? I've read that the road was rerouted so your crossing the creek in 2 spots. Water was fine, not deep at all. The trailer was fine. My brother was in his truck but I didn't feel I needed a spotter at any point. I was more worried about the traffic which there was plenty considering the new yrs crowd. I'm not sure of your trailer dimensions but I wouldn't think it would be a problem if they are slightly larger than the horizon.

I've missed you guys. It's good to log-on and see so many good looking 100s. @bluecruiser and I are working on the 7th Annual 100s in the Hills and as you might expect...... we're gonna say that this will be the best one yet. Look for the HIH7 thread to pop up very soon. July 26-30, but if you can make the whole week, we'll be doing some trail leader training and route-finding on the 24th and 25th too. Everything will be in the thread. This is more than a wheeling event now. Expect a full adventure-lifestyle experience. We're working closely with the Town of Silverton and the local business to have activities and adventures for everyone.
