Imogene overlook...great trail. Not too difficult but if you take the harder lines enough for the ATRAC to kick in a few times...only negative is we met a lot of traffic coming up from Telluride after lunch. Passing on shelf roads is just no fun...

On a somewhat related note...so who did I meet on Last Dollar Rd yesterday afternoon?
Blackwater and I made the trip from Northwest Arkansas this past weekend. Hit Black Bear Pass, and Alpine Loop from Ouray then over Engineer to Lake City. Also ran about 1/2 of Fins n Things at Moab after camping on White Rim Trail in Canyonlands.

Pretty spectacular weekend!

Got a little stuck.

My buddy's jeep couldn't pull me out from where I came in so I was recovered by way of muddy creek bank by
a Nissan Armada, actually very impressed with it. Had to cut down a tree to get the correct angle.

Damage: during recovery front bumper ripped off all mounts and large dent above PS front wheelwell, turn signal assembly popped out of position.

All said, feel pretty lucky. Minor body damage and an interior coated with mud is fixable.

Love the tires. Are those GY Duratracs? What size?

Yep, they are indeed DuraTracs. 285/75r16. I found a closeup from when I was repainting one of my rims recently.

And to review this FlexiDip stuff, it's really similar to PlastiDip but I actually like the way it sprays a little better. Seems to spray more like paint. It's made by Rustoleum and was like $7 for a can. I honestly only bought it because my local Home Depot is outting their supply of Plasti Dip in exchange for the Rustoleum product, so they didn't have any black PlastiDip left and I was therefore forced to buy this "off-brand" FlexiDip. Good stuff though, and it's holding up well. I was concerned their black wouldn't be like PlastiDip's black, but apparently black is black so I was just being a paranoid consumer.

Found a beautiful 80 Series today

. I really like his rhino-lined sides and fenders, I've been thinking about doing something similar for a while.

Official Jeep Recovery Vehicle

I've been thinking about Rhino-Lining from the top of the side molding down to the bottom of the doors and removing the running boards. The only thing I've come up with for the fenders is to mask off at the crease where the fender meets the body and spray. Don't really know how it'd turn out so I might try it with plastidip first but if anyone wants to share pictures of theirs or has any other ideas I'm all ears!

Hit Home Depot today to pick up 13 bags of river rock to go around my air conditioner on the side of my house. At 650lbs it sure does make her squat a little!

Also, does anyone have any experience with this Rustoleum FlexiDip? It was right next to the PlastiDip and I've always had good luck with Rustoleum products so I thought I'd pick up a can to experiment with.

@FlammableFishie sorry I didn't see your review on the FlexiDip:bang: How'd you like it? Is it just as easy to peel away as normal PlasiDip? Are there any other precautions you took before spraying? Thanks in advance!

It did the job. I've noticed that it doesn't have the same shine that plastidip does, so it looks very slightly different but not highly noticeable. Haven't peeled it off yet but I found that it was a pita to peel the plastdip off of my wheel, most likely because I didn't fully apply in some areas. As I said, I like the application of the Flexi better and I prepared the exact same way I did for the plastidip.

@bahnm3 would he be interested in making another one?;)

100's in the Hills 4 is all wrapped up, look out for incoming pictures. Huge thanks to the directors and sponsors for another great one!

Poughkeepsie Wall, no strings attached... not bad at all with lockers engaged and the right lines from @woody and @bluecruiser .
