dang! yeah wheeling alone is not a good idea as better trucks just tempt you to go further and further back than you would normally. That blueberry bumper sure would have been nice with a winch in her....and saved all that mud inside. Or a friend to get muddy since you are the driver....then make him ride in back on plastic in cargo hold. :D

Jon, I wanted to go down Long Slough last year when I was out that way.

We will do it some day. Maybe just after the 100 run. I can get there is 50 min from me casa.

What are those tires, any tbar mods?

295/75/r16 BFG ATs.

At the time of the picture, that is the factory rake.
Ten minutes later i adjusted the OEM torsion bars to set the front nearly level to the rear (with a slight rake)

Very nice looking truck pfran. Love the sliders. Did you add the non-skid tape or did White Knuckle add that to their offering? Either way, it looks great!

Ditto...where'd you get that tape? I've tried a few different solutions on my WKOR sliders, but nothing looks that custom fit.

Thanks...

I picked up the tape at Pep Boys. It is sort of like bed liner tape. It won't scratch your calves up if you slip off the slider while wearing shorts.

I am going to post an install thread with detailed steps for installing and adding tape. I have all the measurements for for the tape crossmember cutouts and everything so someone following my guide will be able to do everything correctly and as efficiently as possible.

I'll see if I can get the guide finished this weekend.

Here is some slider porn:

Pfran, nice sliders! I also like your roof rack setup. Do you have any pictures showing how the gamviti towers mounts to the Yakima?

Here is the best I could find for right now. Gamiviti towers bolt into port-installed roof rack locations. Next, Gamiviti crossbars are run and finally, the Yakima basket is bolted to the crossbars using stainless steel u-bolts.

Here is how the basket attaches to the crossbars:

And here is how I used the extra Gamiviti towers:

Nice. I didn't know Gamviti had crossbars too. Is that the Yakima shovel bracket kit also, or something else holding your shovel?

edit: Now that I look at it closer, that looks like the original Yakima bracket used to mount the rack to the OEM crossbars, right?
